So I now must know what lens you use.

Because your pictures are far too stunning and crisp....

Taken with the D200, am I right?

Thanks man :D This was taken with D200 with Nikkor 18-200mm DX lens with VR - It's my "everyday lens" that I leave on the camera most of the time - it covers most situations and it's great in low light - I've got clear handheld shots at 1/10th sec. I only change it for a specific reason, like a macro. Downside is that it's kinda heavy on an already heavy camera, and there is a weird wavelike distortion at full zoom which is hard to correct with software.

I shoot in NEF, and also find pics always look a little soft at first, but they respond very well to a little sharpening. In fact I found my D70 a bit sharper. D200 seems to need higher shutter speed, I'm assuming that a tiny movement would equate to 1 or 2 pixels on the 6MP, but 2 or 3 on the 10MP, and of course the pictures are a bit bigger too and mistakes leap out at you. But I was happy how this turned out seeing as it's a heavy crop.

:phew: and that concludes your camera and lens review for the day!

Reading all of this has really made me decide that my current lens of choice was a baaad one.

Ugh. Stupid me being impulsive--well I had to~ I had a trip to go on later that week.

We'll see.
