From my first day on DA I knew I wanted a DD. I figured it may take years to happen, as I post so infrequently...only 64 items in my gallery so far. Today I opened DA to a suspiciously full message box, and....

I take this as a good omen - this is the first image I've posted that was shot in my new studio, and it's even more wonderful that it's of my long term partner, male muse and ardent supporter, Milan. Full circle.

I'm happy. In that stupid "can't stop smiling" sort of way.

I DID IT!

Well, I finally did it - fulfilled another dream, and have got myself a studio. It's not perfect, I'd prefer it to be bigger, but it feels like home for now. Just two decent sized rooms with a kitchen and bathroom, good natural light plus I've at long last invested in a lighting set-up for commercial work. I'm just renting the space, will see how it goes, and maybe rent something larger later in the year.

Last weekend was a five day long weekend, and I spent much of it painting and outfitting the space, and painting the odd friend on to the wall in the process - see my latest deviations

Happy. A little overwhelmed, but smiling anyway.

SOME PEOPLE JUST ROCK!!!!

one of my longest standing DA friends, and a flourishing photographer, gave me a gift subscription. I'm consumed with gratitude, even more so because I see he doesn't even have a subscription of his own!

Zbo, I can't thank you enough. You have blown my mind. The more I think about it the more it amazes me....I'm gonna shut up now.

OK, Now I'm really back

Well, it was a strange few months away from DA, but now I'm celebrating my comeback with one of my new deviations. Don't let its dark nature fool you...

I feel inspired and strong, ready to be a part of this community again.
